Following the graduation of the class of 2002, AIM hosted Camp Adventure week. The AIM students hosted senior high school students in their homes for a week as a recruiting endeavor. The prospective AIM students come to Lubbock during this time to see if AIM is what they might be interested in. This year's theme was Extreme Measures, with the theme verse taken from Romans 16:15. Each year featured guests present the key lessons for the week. Eli Hooper from Grass Valley, CA spoke again this year focusing on "Extreme Measures to Know God" and "Extreme Measures to be like Jesus." Mitchell Covington from Paducah, KY spoke on "Extreme Measures to Save the Lost." During the week, the AIMers and campers participated in community service projects as well as early morning and late night devotionals. They also heard cultural presentations from AIM students of the 2001 and 2002 classes. Each day was filled with lessons, practical application, fun time, and many opportunities to grow closer to God. Some lives were changed because they came to Lubbock. Hopefully, some lives were changed because they drew nearer to God. The theme logo design was a pair of wornout old tennis shoes, which have significant importance to the girl who wore them. Kristen Brokaw (AIM '02) bought them brand new in May 2003 before she left for Ukraine. Two years later, they were falling apart because she had worn them so much. They were very comfortable shoes to her, but the meaning extended beyond the physical comfort they gave her
