Eager to Answer the Call

The AIM Class of 2004 Arrives

Some came from their homes in Lubbock, just a mile or two away. Many came from various towns and cities within a 500-mile radius of Lubbock. Still others came from the farthest reaches of the United States... places like Florida, Washington, and Hawaii. Two came from England. And then there was Iew. Traveling some 8,855 miles from his native Bangkok, Thailand, Iew "Hugh" Limsomboon has made it his ambition to serve as an AIM student, language and cultural barriers notwithstanding.

For Hugh and his roommates, the "adventure" of Adventures In Missions is well underway, with many great stories to share already about the fun and challenges of the intercultural household of their AIM apartment. From registration day to now, this is the kind of story that God is spinning in the lives of all of the 65 young people of the AIM class of 2004: new experiences, exciting growth, and through it all, a developing love for Jesus.

All around the world, in places like Hugh's homeland of Thailand, a call is being heard for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be sent to those in need. With several weeks of classroom study and weekend trips already under their belts, this AIM class is well on their way to fulfilling their desire to be part of the answer to that call. Please join us in praying for these 65 young disciples! -- Rob Hindman (AIM '98)
