If you are anything like me, the first time I heard the west Texas terminology, I laughed. In my mind, Dallas is Texas' hub city, not Lubbock. However, the title remains as Lubbock is truly a place where paths cross and roads lead. Besides being called the hub city due to being surrounded by dozens of small towns (as Lubbock is), it is also a well-known
